The Razorback Handicap is a Grade III American Thoroughbred horse race for horses aged four and older, contested over about 1 1/16 miles on the dirt at Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It is part of Oaklawn’s winter stakes schedule and draws experienced older dirt runners looking to build early-season form.
The 2026 Razorback Handicap is scheduled for February 28 during Oaklawn Park’s winter meet.
In the 2025 Razorback Handicap, Alexander Helios earned the victory over the 1 1/16-mile dirt course at Oaklawn Park, defeating stablemate Banishing and other accomplished older runners. Past winners of the Razorback include respected older dirt horses such as Gun Runner, Mr Ross, and Eminency. They have often gone on to further success in stakes later in the season.
