The Breeders’ Cup is upon us and the US Racing team has been busy taking in all the sights at Churchill Downs — from schooling drills, to morning gallops and workouts, to horses lounging comfortably in their stalls.
And while the weather may not have been as sunny and warm as it was for last year’s World Championships in California, nothing can dampen the spirits of a horseracing fan at this time of year… save, perhaps, giving a winning pick-6 ticket to George Bailey’s Uncle Billy to cash (fans of the move “It’s A Wonderful Life” will readily understand).
