Phil D’Amato is the trainer, and he also sends out Hang the Moon and Lucky Girl. Iscreamuscream is the 8-5 favorite leaving from post 4 under Hector Berrios.
Iscreamuscream seeks a spot in the gate for the Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf
Iscreamuscream comes into the Rodeo Drive off a 1 ½-length victory in the Del Mar Oaks (G1). She also won the San Clemente (G2) at Del Mar on July 20.
Hang the Moon and Lucky Girl most recently finished 1-2 in the John C. Mabee (G2) on Sept. 7 at Del Mar.
Three fillies from the East Coast are also in the field: Aspen Grove (4-1) for trainer Jack Sisterson, Beach Bomb (10-1) for trainer H. Graham Motion and Be Your Best (12-1) for trainer Horacio De Paz.
Two other Breeders’ Cup “Win and You’re In’’ races are on the card – the American Pharoah Stakes (G1) and the Oak Leaf Stakes (G1).
The Rodeo Drive is race 8 with a post time of 7:30 p.m. ET.
